Work accepted as a commission

I accept the following types of work as a commission.

• Landscapes. For example, your house or your property
• Seascapes. For example, your boat
• Pets and animals
• Children and portraits
• Work can be in either oil or pastel.
• Paintings on craft board

Cost of commissioned work

The cost would depend upon the size of the painting and, if a portrait, the number of people in the painting. No GST is charged, however, freight will be added to the cost. Framing may be required. See framing recommendations.

Paint from photos or personal visit

Your painting can be done in one of the following ways.

1. Your can post or email photographs to the artist. The photos must be of good quality.
2. If you live within the Mudgee-Gulgong area, a personal visit could be arranged. Depending upon the distance, petrol may be added to the cost.

Deposit required

No painting will be commenced unless a 20% deposit is received. This deposit is non-refundable. Cheque and postal order is accepted. Please make cheques out to Merilyn Burch-Carney and mail to [artists address].

Time taken to complete commissioned art

Depending upon how busy the artist is, the size and complexity of the work, the painting will probably be complete within a month.
